Endoscopy experience

I've cancelled 4 endoscopes over the years due to being scared. finally I decided after 3 months of pain and PPIs not helping it was time to man up. waiting for the procedure to start my heart rate was 130 and I was close to haveing a full blown panic attic. everyone assured me it was no big deal. that didn't help. The nurse said ok your going to get slee..... I woke up in the room wondering when they were going to start. it was literally 15 mins. My wife thought something was wrong because I came back so fast. Ignore the scary stories as they are few and far between. I would do this again 50 times if I had too! Nothing was found wrong so my journey still continues.
