Endoscopy - Followed by Throat & Swallowing Pain

Had ENDOSCOPY tues morning due to several months of on and off chest/abdominal discomfort, results came back normal. Felt fine from procedure until that evening, my throat started hurting when swallowing, and felt worse the next day. It's now Friday (day 4) and I'm not feeling much relief.

I have a large lump feeling and pain deep in my throat after swallowing and burping. This seems to be worse in the evening and wakes me several times at night. I've been able to get temporary pain relief with Tylenol but mostly I've been pretty miserable.

The doctor who performed the procedure says this sounds unusual and is likely not related to the procedure, I call BS. Any one else experience something similar after endo? Trying to figure out a recovery time on this as I'm supposed to leave for a trip tomorrow... Ugh.
