England's Saturday

Love is Love at London Pride, and Football is hopefully going to continue to come home for England in a huge day for the country this Saturday. C3 Foundation Europe are proud to be supporters of both.

If you are using The Sinclair Method to treat your alcohol dependency, then here are a few vital tips to ensure that you enjoy (and remember!) your day:

1. Remain compliant - if your drinking is going to stretch the day, then stop drinking mid way through, consider taking another pill, and wait the usual time before resuming. Set an alarm on your phone for this if you need to.

2. Alternate with soft drinks - especially water as it is going to be hot out there. In addition to making a note of your alcohol drinking as usual, also be sure to note your non-alcohol drinking just for today, too. Keep them on a 1:1 basis as much as possible.

3. Eat regularly - do not have your first drink on an empty stomach. Keep eating small and often throughout the day.

4. Most importantly, stay safe, don't drink and drive and have a WONDERFUL day!

    Thanks Joanna

have watched england whilst enjoying a few ciders. Have found it slightly difficult switching to soft drinks, especially in this heat. However playing with all the kids and sorting out food took my mind off it.

Far too many memories of drunken bbqs is enough to remind me of what could happen. Must say though, it’s the first time I’ve even thought of having one more.

Yes, it was a great game and a good win!  Onwards to Wednesday, now.

I decided not to drink at all.  Just didn't fancy it.  Since having a few days on my recent holiday when I drank, it's just not appealing to me at present.

Stellar control, Vickylou. Don't let it romance you into going for another.
