can anyone tell me if your bowl can be affected in any way with an enlarged prostate?

Reason for asking is because I am more active than normal.

Hi Mark;  Just my humble opinion but I would say "probably not".  You probably should check with your Doctor.

At the moment I am already seeing a urologist, but I was curious as out the blue I am making more trips to the bathroom and I would say between 6-8 times a day. I am already taking a diuretic drug already, which I am taking half the maximum daily dose already.

My experience with prostatitis has been constipation .

I think the prostste condition sometime is related to the pelvic and the intestine.

Thxs for your reply Federico 555. I was thinking that as to the locality of the prostate and the obvious test they do, I was thinking of bowl problems that I have been having may be the direct cause of the prostate.

      Mark

if u have alot gases right before

the pAin/ episode starts or during...

then u might want to check levatore

when u read HEADACHE IN THE PELVIC

u will read about different causes....

      including stress anxiety....etc .

one thing that helped was prostate massage but can be risky and utologist dont likr to do it.
