Enlarged Thyroid

Hello Everyone,

I've bee having some symptoms with my throat and have recently been diagnosed with an enlarged thyroid. I'm not sure if the symptoms are due to the thyroid being enlarged. My symptoms are: my throat feels tight, I have swollen lymph nodes, hoarse voice which gets more hoarse as I talk, sore throat and quick coughs. The symptoms have been going on for 5 weeks. Has anyone experienced these symptoms?

i have the tight throat feeling every day. its as of my lymph nodes are swollen, but i cant ever tell of they really are. I don't necessarily experience hoarseness, but my throat drys out quickly which can lead to a cough. When i do feel my voice going hoarse, i just clear it and its back. I have been diagnosed with Hashimoto's and have a 1.8 cm nodule on the isthmus (middle part pf the thyroid).

Johnette, you should take an exam to see if you have goiter and refer to an ENT specialist. This can get worse if you do not receive treatments.

Also have you considered taking natural vitamins or supplements to regulate your metabolism?
