ENT appointment tomorrow

Hi, I have my ent appointment tomorrow and I'm scared because I've had problems with both my ears since I was born, I'm 21 in April. I have none stop infections, perforations, earache etc. I'm scared in case it is something serious. At the moment when I use my hearing aid I can't hear anything and it is quite worrying. I don't know what to do. Any advice?

Thank you x

Hi and so sorry to hear that you have such problems been so young. What can I recomend to you? I would say change your diet...if you have not yet...no milk, no cheese no meat, nothing artificial, try organic and raw most everything if you can. Ideally if it would be possible try to relocate to a dry and warm place or keep yourself very very wsrm if you can. Check yourself for allergies. Be patient! You are young you probably will out grow them...good luck

I always have infections too but also have Ostosclerosis. My hearing aids are fine but the reason I cannot hear anything is because the eustachian tubes block up when I use my aids. If it wasn't for this problem I would hear really well with my hearing aids. Inititally I thought there was something wrong with my hearing aids but after a while I noticed that it is something else which then my audiologist confirmed. Unfortunately there is not much one can do about eustachian tube problems.

Hi. i hope you received good news yesterday and now know your options. Medical science is always changing and even if there is nothing satisfactory can be done now, there soon will be. Good luck for the future.
