Enterococcus Faecalis Prostate Infection

I've been diagnosed with this recently on the basis of a semen test - getting the test done was like pulling teeth. The diagnosis was a "heavy growth" of this nasty - apparently with 0 white blood cells which I take, hopefully, to be a good sign. There was no sign of fungal infection - which was a suprise because I thought I had candida issues

I have just started on 3 500 mg Amoxycillin per day.

Looking through info on the net I'm not getting hopeful feedback. Does anyone know if this ever gets cured?

    Hi, did you ever get any relief from your condition and manage to treat this infection. I too have Enterococcus faecalis in the prostate but haven't yet started any antibiotics. I'm trying to figure out which one will be best and I'm also hoping to find some success stories with beating this infection.
