    Hi there,

Yes I get them many times in the day though some days are better than others, they can be a little scary, though I mostly find them really annoying, I often wonder if it's the Bisoprolol that causes it, or at least makes it worse.

My hubby was diagnosed with ectopic beats after being on bisoprolol. He never knew he had them or felt anything, the cardiologist said he had them at a check up and prescribed amiodarone for it also the cardiologist rushed him to have a defibrillator implanted. Last March he had an ablation and was told he had multi ectopic beats, he was able to stop the amiodarone.

They never mentioned he had ectopic beats after his heart attack, all this happened after he had major side effects from bisoprolol.

Lots of people have ectopic heart beats that give a fluttery feeling or a feeling that the heart is missing beats. It's common and I've had them for years. They're nothing to worry about and if you stop worrying about them you may find that you have them less often. I did.
