eradicated h.pylori after 3rd time of having infection

Posted , 3 users are following.

After 1 set of antibiotics the infection cleared and it took me about a year to feel ok again to the point I Could eat pretty much anything and drink anything. I was then starting up with the symptoms of belching constipation bad smells wind stomach cramps and all the feelings I got the first time around. I had a second set of triple therapy antibiotics and never really recovered from it. After around 5 months it all started again and I was diagnosed with h.pylori again I finished my 3rd course of triple therapy. The way I feel is worse than ever before. I take multi vitamins every day as well as bacteria tablets to replace the good bacteria which the tablets may have wiped out I mix flax seed into a meal at least once a day and stay away from acidy foods such as tomatoes etc my symptoms are really getting to me and I feel like I can't cope with it anymore. The healthier I eat the worse I feel has anyone else had this same thing ?

    Hi Sal,

HP and 3 rounds of big time antibiotics can wreck havoc on anyones body.

There are some stragegies to treat your current condition but when I've posted they get deleted...

History: wife postive for HP, 1st treatment "failed"...2nd treatment I changed the protocol, 90 plus days later, upper endoscoy plus biopsy was negative for HP but Gastirits.

I am a student of HP. Most of my study material comes from Japan...several years ago, Japan chose to eradicate HP since it lead to bad stuff. Japan screens its citizens annually or semi annually for those who have had HP eradicated..my sister in law goes twice a year to Yokohama as she had HP plus a peptic ulcer...been clear for several years now.

Japan has "reduced" the prevelance of HP. Scientists suspect its because of "awareness", a major reduction in salt consumption, and an increase consumption of fermented plant and dairy products.

Should you have an interest, pm me....I'll try and come up with some kind of a plan for you ...its not a sure thing...too many variables, 1. we are not identical twins, and 2 HP has many strains. Again, only if you have an interest and I'd need some medical history. regardless..wish you well..

I'm impressed...seems your "right on track" Sal....I'll go thru my diary and files...and send you via pm so that any product/s suggested won't be deleted. Btw, we still use our nutri bullet, have some "memories" of its initial use...yougurt/avocado/flax oil/over ripe banana/unflavored soy isolate/l glutamine/raw honey...at least 3 times daily..small amounts..made fresh each time. Used an antique Waring juicer for cabbage, beet, carrot, ginger, celery, added green tea or pomegranate juice.....wife didn't like me adding celery, had to hold her nose..oh, I also fermented cabbage jucie once in a while for its antimicrobials...we used other fruits but not thru nutri bullet nor juicer..like daily papaya.

Sal, we used manuaka honey from nz the widderspoon family and for a good period of time...but cannot say with certainty it helped..but could have inasmuch as we didn't go backwards.

And we only used fresh papaya, 1/2 for breakfast...the enzymes we used were mostly from femented fruits and vegetables. But you may not have access to good quality stuff? Remeber, enzymes and bacteria work in specific compartments in your git (gastro intestial tract). So when you purchase any, be sure to get advice from the chemist/pharmacist ... Claudio

Maybe try looking into the low FODMAP diet and look up Symprove as a probiotic, because it may be the only probiotic proven to get past your stomach and actually reach your gut and supposedly helps around 60% of people. I think this might be the best way to restore your gut bacteria after all those anti-biotics.
