I always found that concentrating on my partner's pleasure gave me the best erection. When she was enjoying my attention, I felt manly, potent, confident and my body reacted accordingly. As I aged and had prostate and other health problems, this didn't work so well, but it didn't stop us enjoying ourselves and each other in non-penetrative stimulation. It doesn't help us men to get too obsessed with our performance. Generally - I believe - women are more interested in the general overall body experience of appreciation, love and pleasure rather than too much focus on genitals.

Hello Mike,
Not to sound preachy, but erections don't always respond to physical or visual stimuli. I mean, yeah, you may 'come to attention' at those times, or when you have to p**s, etc., but erections most often come in response to an emotional connection.
You may not start with an erection when first laying with a person you love, but it most often finishes that way. Kissing, touching, caressing, sucking, licking... learn about these techniques and the rest will follow. There's more to love and sex than an erection. A partner may complain they don't get enough foreplay. It's more than just one person getting an erection and then 'laying pipe.'
However, check any and all medications because some can interfere with erections or ejaculations. Don't masturbate too often... leave some in the tank. Drink plenty of fluids... sounds silly, but it works. Stay healthy, get proper sleep, calibrate your emotional issues to eliminate stress. Adding MORE stress isn't a solution. If your focus is on a potential failure, it often will fail.
9 times out of 10 your will respond appropriately when the time comes. I'm no wizard... the history of mankind bears this out. You'll be okay I'm sure.

If you smokes, you should consider quitting because smoking hurts the circulation, which in turn keeps his penis from staying hard.

I'm in the same boat. I can wake up rock hard, but when I actually want to have sex, it's a struggle. I've started spending my time getting my partner to orgasm before my penis even gets any attention. That way, the pressure is off to satisfy her and you can focus on enjoying the experience.

isn't frustrating when our little friend doesn't want to cooperate? with friends like that you don't need enemies. anyway if you don't already know stress, medicines, sleep deprivation, processed foods, the one nobody want to admit Her Fault... yep sometime her vibe kills it. believe me, the penis knows... Magnesium Citrate does wonders also real Whole Eggs, no sissy egg white only. Real Men take whole free range eggs raw. you need the healthy cholesterol to produce TESTOSTERONE! sieze the day my friend. I had stopped eating raw eggs and saw a decline on my performance till I realized that we are being Feminized by estrogen producing foods and shampoo's went back to healthy fats Omegas found in Avocado's, Coconuts, EGGS!
