i was diagnosed with this last year and it stayed 6 months!

ive recently had 4 months of pnemonia and also tonsilitis doctos says the strep infection or antibiotics or stress could have brought it back

i have around 50 of these tender painful lumps/rash like spots on mt lower legs and feet

my feet and ankles keep swelling up and its painful to walk

my doctor sent me for an xray to rule out sarcoidoisis as ive been breathless fever and night sweats too

i get the results of the xray monday

im told no creams can help

Dear Jayne, I'm 57 and had chronic EN for many years after my second child at age 32. I went to so many specialist and treatments just to learn that relaxing and not stressing was the best way to treat it. Probably when you smoke pot it relaxes you. They have no treatment but pain meds which turn into a horrible disease of its own. I found rest when I feel fatigued is best. I haven't had a flare up in 13 yrs. You will eventually outgrow it. Best of luck Robin

The worst part about it for me is the servere chills, fevers, and night sweats where my bed and clothes are completely soaked.  The sypmtoms always come in that order..  The painful spots are unbarable at times. I too have EN and they can not find an underling cause and its been 1 year.  I can not make it longer then 7-10 days with out predesone.  While on predesone I do feel good and my my spots change from painful red spots to non painful purple spots.  7-10 days after stopping it thought it all comes back.
