So im in sg esa till 2018 ive seen it on here saying that people are being sent new question forms now ready for when there esa ends next year.
I also seen it said that some people are having there benefits put back for 2 yrs.
Does this mean i will hear from dwp soon regarding my reassesment ready for next year or if not do they send you a letter telling you your assesment has been put back

I'm due for reassessment April/May 2018, and I haven't heard anything yet.

Hi folks.
Just reading the posts regarding ESA dates. I'm still amazed how other folk have been given dates when they're up for reassement yet i have never been given a date. Still can't figure out why. Dawn wanders if her claim has been put back, but what does "put back" mean? And why would I not be given a date?

'put back' means that the reassessment is delayed, there have been reports of this happening. I

No, you're thinking of PIP. Those claiming PIP are reviewed 1 year before the award ends NOT those claiming ESA.

You're getting confused between ESA and PIP. Those claiming ESA are NOT re-assessed 1 year before their award ends. You're thinking of PIP. Those claiming PIP are reviewed 1 year before their award ends. I wouldn't worry about your ESA as you have till next year. They'll most likely contact you somewhere near to when your award is due to end. There was a backlog for ESA reviews but i think that backlog has now cleared. Just relax for now as it's still 2017 and you and anyone else will NOT and never is re-assessed 1 year before the award ends.
