I am in receipt of ESA and PiP . I want to volunteer for a registered charity who helped me get my life back somewhat and have been advised that I can get expenses paid but does anyone know how much i can be paid without it affecting my ESA . Many thanks in advance

You can do what's called "permitted work" I believe you can work up to 16 hours per week and earn up to £120 without it affecting your benefits. If you're in the WRAG you're limited to 52 weeks but it's unlimited if in the Support Group. You'll need to contect DWP for any work whether it's paid or not. Be careful though because if it clashes with why you're claiming ESA in the first place then it may just go against you at your review. Please do ring DWP. Good luck smile
