Escitalopram dose.

Hi all, just got a new presciption and my doctor has upped the dose from 5mg to 10mg, because i mentioned to him a few weeks ago that perhaps it should be increased as then i didn't think it was working that well, since then i feel a whole lot better, still get a bit of anxiety mainly in mornings, what i don't want is by increasing the dose i'm going to get all the effects i had when i first started and go through another 8 weeks of symptoms until the new dose kicks in, this is escitalopram not citalopram, any advice would be much appreciated.
