esmya & fibroid 6x6

Posted , 2 users are following.

Hi Ladies,

I took two packages  ( doctor gave me only 2)  of esmya from april to june.

My bleeding completely stopped and even month after I still do not a period.

Did you have a similar situation? When can i expect it. My plan is to be operated in August ( hopefully laparoscopy treatment).

During taking the esmya i felt good. Unfortunately scan showed that fibroid size had not changed still 6 x 6.

Bad effect on me was a cyst ( i had cysts before )in my left briest which at some stage was huge but now after there is only a little mark

I still have a little hope esmya is working a bit, i hearded it is possible...

I hope my decision about the tratment is a good one. Ive been thinking about it for 2 years. I would like to have children in the future im 33

Good luck to all of you

Fingers crossed for shrinkig smile

      Hi Fibroidy,

I am after laparoscopy. I had it on 18th August

I was told that everything went through succesfullysmile they removed fibroid and left me 4 little scars. First 3 days after were hard but 10 days later I was at work feeling well.

I see my doctor next week. I will find out if everything inside is fine.

      Good luck smile

Follwoing my scan , my largest fibroid is 11x10x10, which  at the moment is to big for laparoscopy. Whats everyone experience of shrinkage with esyma as they state they can reduce fibroids by 25% to 50%. Whats everyone's experience, size of fibroid before and after esyma. Thanks all

I hope esmya will work for you It did not work for me but i only took 2 packages not three as recommended,

Most of doctor used to tell me that my fibroid was too big for laparoscopy.

Eventually I found doctor who promised he would try, there is always a risk they have to swap to bigger cut.

The doctor who operated me was proud  his team removed the fibroid 25cm size in laparoscopic way. Just the operation lasted few hours

In fact after operation he said my fibroid was biigger than showing on scan, he said it was even 9 cm long.

Good to find highly motivated doctor, I paid 3000 euro and it was in poland

I live in Ireland. Public hospital did not want to operate me . Consultans said that every third woman has it and it has no impact my fertility (polish doctors said it definatley has biggrin  they said i can come back if they grow larger or I would be in pain.  I contacted private clinic in cork but they told me to come for consultancy for 150 euros, on internet there is no info abour cost or doctors

I hearded some good opinions about uk service

Fingers crossed they will take great care of you
