Esophagus/Chest Pain When Swallowing

Just wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem...I'm about 2 weeks into showing symptoms of mono and I've had swollen, sore tonsils for about a week. Just today I started having pain in my chest when I swallow, just below the collarbone in the middle and sometimes higher up at the base of my neck. Part of me thinks the muscles in my esophagus are just sore from swallowing so weirdly with my painful tonsils...any thoughts? Thank you!!

    This is super, super common in most people with mono. No need to worry

    if youre really worried i would see an ENT to calm your fears and anxiety i feel like its normal but get an experts opinion
