Hi ..my esr is 38 ..please tell me what is mean of this and what is decease being possibility

    An elevated ESR can be caused by inflammation in the body.  It could be a pulled muscle, autoimmune disease, some type of infection or even from allergies. The causes are of many.   The ESR test is nonspecific and will not tell you what is wrong, but just that there is inflammation in the body somewhere.
