Estradiol patch + Progesterone for osteoporosis in pre-menopausal women?

Has anyone used an estradiol patch in combination with progesterone pills for osteoporosis? Specifically looking for responses for women BEFORE menopause.

I am a young active (but not over-exercising) woman in my early 30's. Hx of EDs, amenorrhea, and very low BMD (bone mineral density). I was prescribed this combination but am very scared to start using it, not least because of the countless horrifying side effects.

I would greatly appreciate hearing from anyone who has gone down this road, for better and worse. Did it increase your BMD? Any nasty side effects? Etc.
