Estriol cream and tingling in the body

i just started using Estriol vaginal cream for the first time tonight and woke up in middle of night with tingling and numbness in my leg and arm. is this a relatively normal reaction? is it just my body adjusting or should i be worried and telling my GP?

    I didn't have that experience with the patch.

    I hope some others chime in here with experience with the cream.

    I use Estrace Cream which is a stronger form than what you're using, been on it for several years and no issues. But before that I tried Vagifem, its a vaginal tablet vs a cream, and it gave me terrible leg cramps and a weird tingling feeling on my scalp. Its literally the same as the Estrace cream, so I think it may have been the fillers in the tablet.

    It could be nothing, could be anxiety or it may take some getting used to.. but a call to your doctor is probably a good idea.

    Hi, I use oestrogel HRT gel and have had pins and needles, numbness and a pain in my bicep muscle in my left arm. The numbness and pins and needles come and go but the weakness/pain in muscle is pretty constant. I have been to the Doctor and she doesn't seem too concerned but asked me to come back in a couple of months as I am in the early stages of HRT. The general rule I think is that it can take 3 months for your body to adapt, so your symptoms might settle down with time . Fingers crossed 😃
