Hi Sarah I had itching down there and took canstean duo it went after 2 weeks.

But I get smelly urine has it checked and they could see blood in my urine then it was inconsistent

Then I had blood in discharge and I ended up having 2 polyps removed and the Dr said that's where the blood was coming from.

2 years on I get smelly urine on and off especially during hormonal changes! It's so embarrassing as I drink 2 litres of water a day and eat some much fruit and veg!

Vitamin is usually yellow urine but mines is green/dark yellow!

Thanks for replying, yes it is embarrassing. My nurse practioner( my gps are still awol due to covid) says its a UTI but because it was a telephone conversation no urine sample was taken so just went on my symptoms and prescribed a 3 day course of antibiotics and the estrogen cream and said if dont improve to ring back but she thinks its because of changes down there due to peri so see what happens after the course of antibiotics and use of this cream.

      hi Beth

Yes my bleeding stopped as soon as my polyps were removed as my gynecologist said this is what is causing it. They were both in my cervix

i would ask for them to take a urine sample before taking antibiotics which can mess you up more, its ridiculous to prescribe without knowing x

yeah exactly what I was thinking, there still trying to use covid as an excuse to not see patients still and doing telephone appointments instead of face to face its annoying 🤬😡 she was saying she gets the same problem but a urine sample would have been the first thing they would have done pre covid, Ive took 2 antibiotics already, just hope im not allergic lime i am with amoxicillin 😮 got to pick up the cream later, do you know anything about the cream estriol?

totally agree never take antibiotics without a thorough investigation

My Dr told me to take canstean duo and it resolved it along with the cream. Also take probiotics as that has helped too
