Estrogen

most of the posts on here say about low estrogen, yes in peri we do have lower estrogen but we also have estrogen fluxes too, also we have alot lower progesterone compared to estrogen, progesterone acts like an anti histamine (itchy skin anyone)

    I get irritated skin particularly the collar line of my neck, back, hait line and legs nothing visible. It feels like you've had your hair cut and there's loose hairs still there or there's a label in your jumper that's bothering you or like there's straw between your skin and clothes. It's so annoying no anti-itch cream helps.

      honestly jane my skin is that sensitive i can feel if i have a tiny hair inside my sock its madness! i take an antihistamine when the itching gets bad, as mast cells have histamine and estrogen receptors, so histamine heightens estrogen and vice versa x

      I'm with you my skin is very sensitive to touch even our dog slightly rubbing along makes me cringe. It's crazy.

      i so miss my scented body creams, but ive just discovered palmers paraben free, lovely coconut, its not loccitane but at least the smell doesnt trigger me x
