Hi I was taken of esa at the beginning of March as I moved in with my boyfriend who works full time but I was just recently sent for an atos medical when as I say I no longer receive esa so I really do not understand why? It took me right back to the beginning malingering my illness and anxiety worse really stressing and frightened about this assessment I phoned them and said I no longer receive esa but was told to attend when I attended they didn't understand why I was there either they were not even aware that my esa payment had been stopped has anyone else been through this and do we no why?

    You may well have lost your ESA due to having your boyfriend's income but it is very possible that you are still having your NI stamp paid for by the DWP.

    To keep getting that you will have to prove that you are entitled to ESA but will not be getting it paid.

      Also having an underlying entitlement to ESA even if you get no money you might qualify for other benefits.  x

      Thank you so very much I was just unsure of why I had to attend when I was no longer receiving es a payment x
