Ive been with the same guy for around 4 months now and before this i have never got BV but now everytime i have sex with him i get it.
Is it possible that he is giving it to me?
Im in constant pain and dont know what to do

apparently bv doesn't occur in men but his sperm will definitely set bv off I know this first hand .
if you read all our threads recently you'll get information on trying different things .

Most definitely the sperm....The samething happened to me with my kids father and as much as we hated using condoms, we had to start using them

I was recently told that gardnerella vaginalis can also be found in semen.

thanks girls for replying, i made another post about BV May be caused by your partner being uncircumcised; as the bacteria could be under his skin and hes passing it to you every time you have sex. this is just an idea & wanted to see what you lot thought about it
