Everyday dizziness while walking, standing and feeling unbalanced on my feet.

I have dizziness everyday while walking, standing as well as feeling off balance, unsteady on my feet like I am gonna fall over. I have had my ears checked by an ENT doctor in 2014 and he said I had menieres disease so he treated it as that but medicine didn't help so went to another ENT doctor in 2015 who said I don't have menieres disease but have hearing loss in both ears and did a test on my vestibular function which he said was normal so he referred me to a neurologist and I went and had an MRI done which was normal as well. I have had blood work done in November last year and my white blood count was a little high but not concerning and everything else was normal....no diabetes. Also had a stress test done on heart and was normal. I am at my wits end with this cause I don't know what's going on. I plan to see an eye doctor soon. Oh and I was diagnosed with anxiety 4 months ago but this dizziness and off balance feeling has been going on for 2 years now. I am on blood pressure medicine too. don't know what else to do. Does anyone have these same symptons ?

Ann - Sorry to hear you are having such a difficult time. If you have been to several doctors and each has ruled out anything serious, its safe to bet you may have what I had a few years ago, severe, SEVERE anxiety. See my comments above, but I had all the same symptoms above that were brought on by an emotionally traumatic event as well. Now how to address this. Are you working out? Are you learning about panic disorder by reading books on it such as Don't Panic by Reid Wilson? Getting CBT Therapy? Continuing your life as normal and hanging with friends and forcing yourself to confront situations you are nervous about? If you do what I did, which is stay in bed for 2 years, you will be doing yourself a huge disservice and making it 10x worse. To get over this you need to be proactive and have a firm belief that there is nothing wrong with you and that you need to work on bringing your anxiety/panic back down to normal levels. Let me know if you have questions, I feel for you. Been there, and it really was torture, but it went away.

I had gastritis too. I even went to a gastroentologist to seek help for it. The gastro doctor told me its a symptom of anxiety and to get my anxiety under control. Also, I can give you plenty of tips to get anxiety under control. CBT Therapy, please do yourself a favor and find a doc specializing it, it will change your life for the better. Also, meditation. Download a free app called Head Space and meditate with it every single day. You will develop plenty of tools to deal with your anxiety and notice changes after the first few days. Lastly, working out is a must. Go for a run, you can't have anxiety while you are running for long distances and you'll feel much better after a run, bike, swim, whatever. If you can find a steam shower, do that. Try to get a massage once a week so your brain is forced to focus on your body. The goal is to get in a routine of things that make you feel better.

Hi my husband has had your symptoms for about 9 months now, he is 57 years old. He has had an MRA and an MRI he has had an Ultrasound of his veins and arteries, he also has had blood work. Currently he is in Physical Therapy to see if he needs the ear crystals moved around and has had his B12 shots increased from monthly to weekly. He has seen his MD, Oncologist and a Neurologist. I'm thinking of taking him to see an ENT, Cardiologist and possibly a Urologist. Idk what other direction to go..
