    Hi Tina arena. 1,

I am on HRT for now 3 months and I can sleep again and feel less anxiety but have the blues. I am now thinking if I should just stop. I have hypothyroidism and am on meds for this as well and I am exhausted lately. I hate taking medications and I just wish I can just feel good on my own. I am really considering getting of HRT the weifht gain is horrible as well. No win, I feel.

hi, Iwent on hrt and also have hypothyroidism . felt like you for 6 months kept going back to doctors thinking it was the hrt. I then asked for bloods to be taken and found that hrt can alter the thyriod andΒ  amount your taking . Maybe you should get your bloods done and see if it the thyriod and not hrt first

Thanks Melody. I am going tomorrow to get my blood taken. I feel hazey. On top of all of this I got in a horrible accident and I am going through he healing of this and stress of waiting for mri's and not working until I am well. I never in my life felt so on a dark tunnel. I was happy before. I gained 35 pounds and now not even feeling well. I am going to check the thyroid first. I do not want to take a pill for estrogen I something natural like gel. Can someone tell me how that works and as well what kind of gel and what kind of progesterone they are on which is good for them. I just want to feel in a better place again.

Start taking it Tina you will feel so much better, take it from somebody who took it for 18 months and it changed my life for the better sweats stopped and mood improved and it made me generally feel much better, I stopped after 18 months and weaned myself off them, went for another 18 months without anything then had a hip op and my symptoms returned. So went back on the everel conti as now passed menapause and started to feel good again, my advice go for it you won't look back, good luck

Thank you for your reply. I think the main thing that's putting me off is weight gain or putting inches on! ! I feel awful saying that but my confidence isn't gr8 anyway at minute and I was on a 3 monthly pill tridestra last july and just seemed to increase in size over a few weeks!! As soon as I stopped the inches came off. 😒😒😭
