Excellent all natural cure for BV

Hi ladies. I have had BV for a few months. It kept coming and going. And it seemed around the ime of my period it would return. I've never had anything like this before and wouldn't wish it upon anyone.

Well i found a natural cure thank God one that does not involve tablets and suppositories.

I tried many different things to no avail.

Then just for the benefit of it i decided to drink green tea with honey and the BV went. I didn't realise it was the green tea and honey that has got rid of it until i didn't have any green tea to drinkfor a few days and my BV returned. I was horrified and thought maybe it was the green tea and honey so i started to I drink it again and it went and I have kept drinking it everyday and it has not returned since. Now green tea and raw honey is part of my regular diet and I've replaced my usual cups of tea and coffee with green tea and raw honey. Please read up on these two ingredients raw honey and green tea separately they both have many health benefits.

Here's how I make it.

I buy loose green tea leaves.

I put a flat tablespoon in a jug and cover withaa mug full of boiling water.

I soak the leaves for about 4 to 5 mins.

Then i pour into a mug through a tea leaf strainer and throw away the leaves. Then let cool a little or add a little cold water to cool then I add a flat tablespoon of raw honey to sweeten it.

Don't get the cheap store bought honey this is not the same. Raw honey is found in health food shops or on the net.

I drunk about 4 to 5 cups a day and no more BV plus I get all the other health benefits of the honey and green tea.

Please try it God willing it will work for you as it has me.

Take care.

Hi mary, this does sound great but I wonder if you are actually curing the issue with the green tea and honey? I just ask that because once you stop drinking the green tea and honey it comes back. Can I ask what your general diet is like? I'm really interested as I was struggling for many years with this issue and for me it was always there as it just became worse and worse. The only thing that worked has been a change of diet and to correct the imbalance of bacteria in my gut with probiotics as that was what was causing it. That's why I wonder if the green tea is enough or whether it is just masking the symptoms. Kind of like exercising your way out of a bad diet?? Like I was. You look good from the outside, but the inside is breaking down. I used balance activ gel which masked the symptoms somewhat and now I have serious digestive issues 2 years later since stopping the antibiotics. Just feel I need to warn people about that. Although I absolutely advocate green tea and honey, can it really be enough to correct a bacterial imbalance?

Hi anastasia yes I know what you mean and I guess whether it is fully taking it away overtime or just masking it is something I don't know as yet. I guess I can only test this when I stop drinking the green tea and honey. But in the meantime I also think as you said that diet is very important and this is definitely a sign for me to change my diet which I am doing slowly but surely but in the meantime while I do that this method has taken away the horrid symptoms of the BV.

I don't know if this helps at all but I did read that many issues stem from milk because they inject cows with hormones and pasteurise our milk which takes out the good bacteria in it. I am a sufferer of what the drs call atopic dermatitis or eczema and I read an article that said to stop all milk products for 6 weeks and see what difference it makes. Many people have reported very positive results and I'm 1 week into a dairy free diet and my eczema has nearly gone. This is not am easy diet though because dairy is in so many things ie bread, cakes, biscuits, chocolate etc etc but it seems dairy has been causing me problems and I'm not sure if it is linked to the BV but ill do the 6 weeks no dairy and keep eating healthy and see if there are any results on my BV but in the meantime the 2 natural ingredients of green tea and honey are supposed to be very good for overall health.

Thanks for your reply and information.

Hi mary thanks for replying. Yes I totally agree about doing something that works to get rid of the symptoms is definitely important - I know I would have done ANYTHING to get rid of the smell. An believe me I tried EVERYTHING! But it only worked to mask the root cause and as soon as I accepted that and changed my diet to get myself healthy - my symptoms just started to disappear one by one. I am so glad to hear that you are also trying to change things in your diet. Especially as you also have issues with your skin. I too used to have some sort of skin issues either psoriasis or eczema on my elbows. It was so bad it was red raw and very painful to move my arms. But that's gone too now. It's our bodies way of trying to get rid of toxins as the liver is probably not working as efficiently as it should be. Also could be the toxic load is overwhelming our system so the body tries to eliminate it through the skin. (This is based on my research on this subject). Well done for eliminating dairy for 1 week!! How are you finding it? Dairy can definitely be a big issue and I found it so hard to eliminate it at the beginning - but it was mainly due to habit than anything else. Keep us updated on your progress - it will be great to know how you get on.

Yes I think you are definitely right about the toxic overload. I didn't used to eat very well in the past and started off with digestive problems. Then 3 years ago I noticed for the first time ever I started with eczema on my hand. Then came the BV just last year. One thing after another. It seemed like no had a problem but I didn't do anything about it and it just led to further issues. I have done lots of research over the years and realised you either make your food your medicine or it turns out to be the reasons for your ailments. I did read that all disease come from the stomach ie what you eat brings on disease. Anyway you mentioned you cured your psoriasis how did you do that if you don't mind me asking because my grandma has psoriasis? I guess you have also learnt a lot through having your health issues too so any good info you can share with me will be greatly appreciated.

Yes the dairy diet isn't easy because I love chocolate and biscuits lol but since my problems I have started to do a lot of home baking myself so I just make cakes and biscuits without dairy ha ha so is still get my sweet treats. Overall my health issues have taught me a lot.

And I hope now to keep my diet good for my 4 children to also follow so they are not junk food mad like I was.

      Take care

Yes that sounds pretty similar to my situation although the bv was there before the psoriasis on my elbows. I pretty much cut out all the potential allergens. So dairy and wheat, and eggs for a while, although I'm eating eggs again now and alcohol and sugar. I had a food intolerance test done and it showed that I was intolerant to animal milk, eggs and yeast. I added in lots of vegetables, mainly green leafy veg such as spinach and kale etc. Without testing, the best way to work out what your body is reacting to would be to do an elimination diet so best to take out all the potential allergens and then after a while add them back in one at at time to see how your body reacts to them. Probiotics is another important one to increase the beneficial bacteria in the gut. Now, the other important thing is to heal the lining of the gut too as psoriasis is an autoimmune disease and it is believed that one who has an autoimmune disease also has intestinal permeability. So I began taking l-glutamine too. I don't know if this all sounds a bit confusing but as I have been researching the subject of digestion and diseases associated with it, I can get carried away and sometimes lose people so sorry if I'm doing that. Do some research on this stuff as there are ways to solve this issue and it's not too difficult- I hope this info helps.
