Hello. I'm now 8 weeks post op from Rectocele repair and doing ok. I was wondering if anyone knew if it would be ok for me to get back on the cross trainer now? Xxx

I think it can be done safely, but later. I remember seeing a video by Michelle kenway on YouTube about how to use a cross trainer in a way that is safe for your pelvic floor. There were some do's and dont's. She is the Aussie pt that specializes in pelvic floor safe exercise (and coined the term).
i read that it takes 12 weeks for the tissues to fully heal so I think it's a bit early for that. Maybe just take several walks a day? I am about where you are, 8 weeks tomorrow, and while I am doing a lot more than before walking is about right for me. I find I can get more steps in if I do 2 or 3 short walks.
