excesive and prolonged period?

Hello, 23 years old and have been experiencing vaginal bleeding for most of the last 5 years. 2013 I'm pretty sure I had a miscarriage but I'm not 100% sure seemed that way. I bled excessively  for a month being stuck in bed and the bathroom, going through giant pads every hour.it was gross, extremely painful, and took all my energy. Doctors think I am okay and ha e just excessive  menstruation. I'm not buying it though. Five years later and I'm still bleeding . It's not always heavy now but I can't bend over without starting to bleed. I can't get stressed out, cough to hard, lift, or bend without it causing my vagina to bleed. I'm not sure what to do. It has cause me to lose 100 pounds. I was almost 200 pounds. Thankfully I've put back on 15(on  a good day ). So now I sit at 115 pounds, bleeding/spotting every single day for the last 5 years. I'm drained, sore, and tiered. I've requested a d &c in hopes to fix it but my request has been denied. I'm also without insurance thank for any and all advice. I'm pale and sick of being sick, I need help.

    Are you on the pill? Ive had and idk if irs still going on but i had this issue i was getting a period twice a week. Turns out my bc was running out so we tried pills which made me.bleed heavily did depo and then realized i didnt wanna be on bc since the weight gain was real so im on nothing so far had a fairly normal period so far. So im hoping its done cuz its been the most stressful 6 months of my life

      Yeah, I've been on the pill for the last like 6 years or so. If I don't take the pill I bleed like Niagara Falls . It's terrible, the only thing that slows it down is birth control.  Depo worries me as well so I never opted for it.  So have you been bleeding for 6 months?

      Because sometimes you got to change your pill maybe you need more prostegone then estrogen or vice versa. Omg im sorry that is terrible

      Yeah it started in August i had a period for 21 days then sept it came late on oct i had 2 periods and a 2 day spotting. I got on depo didnt have a period during the 3 months got off bc cause i gained weight. But my periof came as normal this month

    I have a relative who had her period for a year, she had to switch to a different type of birth control. Once she did she has had normal periods again. Might be worth a shot.

      Maybe, I just get so nervous taking it, I do want kids one day but, I can't if I have to constantly take birth control to prevent bleeding. Maybe I should try it though I'm so tiered of it, it makes me cry to often.
