im so sorry you are dealing with that.

im not a doctor but will give you advice from what they gave me for my reflux.

do not drink coffee on empty stomach

    do not drink anything carbonated

do not lay down after eating-wait three hours

these are major in fighting acid

i take pepcid after dinner and gaviscon right before bed time. you have to order gaviscon online as they only make it in the UK. (the us version is not the same). Amazon has it.

if its regular reflux this should help significantly.

and please please please- manage your stress. this could be the cause also. stop thinking about corona- be safe and dont worry.

    i prey you get better.

I experienced that all in 2014, yes was so scary, having anxiety because the medication didn't help at all, I was 140 pounds & went to almost 110 pounds because I don't know what to eat, the acid even constrained my breathing & felt like it will cut off my breathing, i had colonoscopy & endoscopy & thank God the results are negative , i did pray a lot & ask God what to do in Jesus name, I start boiling the water to drink & I drink it warm, I Google what food that has so much acid & try to eat only food that's has a little acidity content, I really see to eat that eat on time, never skip meals or never let yourself hungry because it triggers the acid attacks, drink 8 glasses per day, exercise by running the treadmill for a mile almost every day, must sleep at least 8 adequate hours at night or within 24 hours, avoid to worries or stress, eat vegetables, avoid white sugar & use honey instead. Every time the acid attacks, boil an egg but take the egg off when the water start boiling & let it cool down and eat it warm, that helps a lot to push down the acid back to the esophagus. I pray for you to get well in Jesus name. Find a good Gastroenterologist that can pinpoint what's wrong with you, I did change my physician that time & the second one helps me a lot to get well and I thank and praise God for the healing, I'm in 122 pounds now with God's grace and mercy. Good diet helps a lot too.
