Excess saliva or Hyper salivation

I am a 23 year old woman, about a month now I've been experiencing excess saliva in my mouth. Everyone keeps telling me its a pregnancy symptom but I am not pregnant. I am a teacher which is very hard to do when you have so much saliva in your mouth. Ive been looking up who can help me deal with this problem since I am from Puerto Rico and I don't know which specialist should see me. Has anyone else experienced this issue. Please I am desperate to go back to normal.
