How do you deal with excessive sweating caused by anxiety? I can hardly shop or be in large groups of people. Sweat profusely!

I have bad sweats too, currently I am trying a technique with all of my symptoms where I invite them in and actively encourage them to worsen because fear thrives on fear and by accepting the symptoms and not fighting them eventually it leaves it nothing to feed on.

I know it's not easy though especially when you are out and about and feel more vulnerable, it's two showers a day at least here and lots of anti-persperant although that doesn't help the sweaty hands, lightly dust them with some gentle talcum powder,I find that helps and keep your fluid intake up too.

You should go see your Doc,he should run tests .

I believe botox injections can stop that problem.

    I wish you well.☺

I would dress in breathable  clothes that allow transfer of moisture.I used to dress very lightly but of course people used to ask me "dont you feel cold"?If I could I would go outside for a spell to cool off.Remember to take good belly breath like you are filling your stomach with air.I would take cold shower to help bring down my body temp before I go out.as you get to store take off your jacket and be wearing short sleeves even if you are cold on the way there. It is better to be more comfortable there, than on the way over.Have an ice cold beverage, not alcohol, with you and never have coffee. If you go to a coffee shop you can have ice tea or something with ice in it.Dont drink coffee before you go out.
