Oh yes !!!Not my favourite symptom at all

I have not had any tests - my Dr just shrugged her shoulders.

We just had our hottest summer on record, and my hair was wet almost all day, my glasses were fogged, and my eyes were stinging from dripping perspiration.redface

My head did sweat during the winter too.

I have had many weird and unpleasant symptoms come and sometimes they go, and I really hope this particular one does go eventually.

I wear a sweat band in the garden. I did try a Keith Richards type bandanna, but my Grandchildren rolled around laughing.

I understand what you are going through. Hang in there ! And if you ever find a cure, please post it on here.

Sharon, I have just realized that you are on the Fibromylgia site so I thought I should add some more information. I was confused, and thought you were on the PMR site.

?I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia 21 years ago. 3 years ago I started having the head sweats, then gradually over the weeks, I got head pains, and I knew my health was changing. Then one night I woke with extreme stiffness and pain in my neck and hip areas. I could not turn over. I was diagnosed with Polymyalgia Rheumatica (PMR). as well.

?I sincerely hope that this is not the reason that you are getting 'the head sweats', but I am fairly certain that mine are connected to the PMR, not the Fibromyalgia. I have only had the perspiration problem for the 3 years I have had PMR.  On the bright side, the sweat problem did improve for a while, but I am just having another relapse.

I do hope your health improves. Take care.
