Excessive sweating from armpits

I've been suffering for a while now with excessive sweating from my arm pits. I can be driving and I can just sweat for no reason what so ever. If I'm not doing anything I just sweat.

It really is horrible and I'd love for a way to stop it. I've tried all kinds of deodorants to try and stop it, but nothing seems to work. 

I believe I suffer with hyperhidrosis. Is there a way to stop the heavy sweating from under my arm pits?

Please help...

    Hi.  With excessive sweating / hyperhidrosis of the armpits there are several things out there.  Firstly, when you say deodorants, have you tried any of the prescription-strength aluminium chloride products? There are several in the UK (if that's where you're from).

    Nowadays as well, botox injections seem popular, but there are drawbacks e.g. getting them can be expensive, the effect is only temporary, and in some cases painful.

    There are also topical and oral medications, and finally surgery.  However, surgery must be given an awful lot of thought, because there can be advantages and a lot of disadvantages.

    It's best though consulting with a health professional.
