Excessive yawning on Citalopram

Hi I’ve been on Citalopram 10mg for one week & then I  bumped up to 20mg the next week so it’s now been a total of two weeks (one on 10mg & this past week on 20mg)... I’ve noticed so much excessive yawning the past few days I literally can’t stop & it’s extremely annoying, constantly yawning or holding back the urge to yawn sad does this side effect get any better as time goes on?

      Yeah I’m just constantly exhausted too, the yawning is getting better tho! I’m sure as time goes on the tiredness/yawning won’t be as bad!

      How long did it take for it to go away? I'm exhausted and yawning all the time also.

    I had the exact same thing when I first started Citalopram, it did go away. They were proper weird yawns as well! Difficult to explain but this definitely happened to me x

      Yeah I’m hoping so & it’s already getting better as the days go on but wow there was this one day I posted this it was almost constant it was so annoying! Thanks smile
