Excision surgery not helping!!

Hello!
I had a laparoscopic excision surgery on 10 different spots in December and was put in mirena at that time too. I am feeling super discouraged because I am still in pain most days, and my periods are awful. The worst pain is definitely associates with my period. Ive tried to talk to my surgeon (a pelvic pain specialist) and she hasn't been responsive. I have had my mirena checked for placement and, they have told me just,to take muscle relaxers which I hate because they don't really help me and just make me tired. I don't really know where to go from here because I feel like now that I've had my surgery they are done with me.
Has anyone else had an experience like this? Did you try other treatment options? Are there even any? Thanks!

I had laproscopy for stage 4 endo. The doctor removed all the implants she could find and off of my organs removed and removed my tubes covered in endo and i frlt a little better for a few months then i got all my pain back but 24/7 every single day and was limping for months from nerve pain and sciatica and like every symptom if pain you can imagine and zero energy. i thought i was dying for real. long story short i found an amazing surgeon that agreed that a robotic lap would be able to get to areas that a regular lap can miss!!!! he found endo deep in the pockets of the pouch of douglas that were missed by the first surgery and it was all over my ovaries as well . i had a complete hysterectomy along with it by my choice because i knew that it would increase my chances of recovery and the fact that i was cramping every single day and i did WANT TO be in labor pains all the time and off advil and pain killers. i felt like a new person right after surgery!!!! its 4 months later and i have zero!!!!! pain anywhere! no sciatica !! tons of energy!! my endo belly is gone!!! i feel so healthy and like i have my life back for my husband and kids as well. My dr was able to leave my one ovary to delay menopause . i would do it a million times over to feel this amazing!!!

Hi april05305,
So excited to hear about your successful story. I had 2 surgeries to remove endo and rectum resection since they could not save portion of my rectum. Endo always grow back revenge me. Just wondering if I can have info of your surgeon. I'm thinking of a hysteretomy too. I have big concern that a little chance for laporoscopy not to be able to clear up things like open surgery does. But your experience sounds convincing. Thanks!
