Exercise and pain.

I was diagnosed 3 months ago and finally my knee is pain free.  I started back working out at group exercise and Zumba.  2 lb hand weights and low impact.

I also started back playing tennis and my left hand is great.  My right hand hurts when serving and when I hit the ball in the air.  Being able to play has does wonders for my mental outlook but don't want to damage my wrist.  The pain isn't worse after I am done playing.

Any input from others would be appreciated.  Elaine

I've read that getting exercise is good for the RA as it helps you retain strength as well as the endorphins released that make you feel positive. As long as you don't overdo it you should be okay but it's worth consulting your GP to be on the safe side.

      Thanks Nadine,

So far the exercise has been good.  The joints are going to hurt either way.
