Exercise having a negative effect on anxiety?

Hi all

I have been on sertraline for 6 months now, for anxiety.

In general, I am feeling a lot better than I did 6 months ago but am still up and down every day.

One strange thing I have noticed is that my anxiety worsens immediately after I exercise.

It seems counter intuitive that you would feel worse after exercise but either the anxiety or the sertraline must be doing something to mess up the chemical balance in the brain and the dopamine hit from the exercise sort of backfires?

Has anybody else had this or is it just me?
