Exercise (like running) after CTS

Posted , 1 user is following.

Hi,

I had CTS last wednesday - I'm back to office duties today (+5 days) - able to use a mouse and keyboard, and other easy tasks with practically no pain or discomfort - grip is a little weak, and anything strenuous hurts the wound, but that's to be expected. I'm off operational duties (I'm a fire fighter) for a few weeks.

However, I'm desperate to get running and exercising again - anyone experiance any problems with running straight after CTS - my usual distance is 10KM three or four times a week - I'm worried that the hand / arm  movement may aggrivate things.

Thanks

Well, didn;t get any replies, but FYI, I ran 10KM this morning with no problems at all - just a little ache in my shoulder, but that's probably just from being a bit stiff due to lack of use for a few days.
