hello all . is there any exercises/treatment to prevent getting dizzy when i stand up?
I've had weird symptoms/episodes of dizzy/light headed/can't focus since 2016 after i got extremly cold one night. my family doctor thinks i had 7th cranical nerve damage and this somehow causes episodes such as if i was picking at my left ear or putting headphone into left ear. i had mri/ct/bloodwork/seen neutrogist/ent... all came back good.
my lastest doctor said i should see a balance centre to learn techniwues and get retrained and learn what to do when get dizzy.
anyways at the moment i have extreme diffucuitly standing up from a laying down position. i get very lightheaded/dizzy when i stand up and get out of breathe sometimes. even if i bend over and working for 5 mins then when i rise my head back up i get crazy dizzy. sometimes having to sit back down . now i have some anxiety over it as well
is there any exercises to prevent getting dizzy from standing up? i just had blood pressure checked from 3 positions, ekg and all normal

Hi I got the exact same symptoms 6 mths ago! 10 consultants later! I got my diagnosis! Vestibular migraine! Which doesn't actually cause migraine! And I didn't present with all the symptoms like nausea at first! Have started treatment and life style change,if u research I thi k you will relate to it. If so you need to find an neurologist who specialises in vestibular migraine. Good luck I hope you get sorted let me no what you think

so what are your exact symtoms? my left side of my face always feels weaker and not as strong and very very slight appearance difference. also i just practiced some exercises and my left eye is strained now so somehow its all weaker and causing issues but ent/neutrogist all said things are fine but def are not
this is first time i got headaches from it though

My symptoms started with my swaying, and my eyes were not in sync with my head movements, everytime I stand and sit down very dizzy, then developed fullness in my ears and then tinithus in one ear, very sensitive to sound! The more movement the more fullness and pressure in my head! There's also an optical vestibular syndrome which is similar! Most neurologist told me I didn't hav it as had no nausea but dat is not always the case apparently! Mine was possibly triggered by hormones but age and stress are triggers 2!

wow some of those symptoms are like me . my left side of face is weaker and i csn tell my left eye not as strong as right eye so where they are not in sync it causes issues relating to trying to focus. also my left ear always feels full. if i stick abything in my left ear my symptoms usually start within few days . so you found the exercuses helps?
i do have stress from time to time
