Exhausted post shingles

I was diagnosed with shingles 2 weeks ago. Compared to some, it was a mild case with just a small rash on my back. I caught it early and was given antibiotics which I finished last week. The rash has pretty much cleared but now I have overwhelming bouts of fatigue. Yesterday I literally couldn't move. Is this to do with the shingles and if so, how long does it take to be 100% better?

I GUESS I was lucky in that I went on the antiviral and although had three large areas of rash never became intolerable or too painful. I am still having an occasional pain but nothing severe. I was also on large doses of prednisone while I was on the antiviral and was told I had a UTI while I was still sick with the shingles. My problem is now most of the rash is dried up it’s been about 3 1/2 weeks and I am as weak as a kitten I cannot walk from one room to the other my legs are like rubber and as soon as I walk a few steps I have to run and lay down again. Apparently my blood pressure was high so I was taking off my blood pressure medicine and now it’s up and down. I am waiting for the doctor to call me as to what I should do next. But this for fatigue and unbelievable weakness is what I NEED TO DEAL . IS this fatigue etc normal after most rast is gone
