At a pantomime this week I left to return home after only one hour. I am so exhausted I cannot even go out shopping for food as I am too tired before even reaching the shops. I do suffer a lot of health problems such as osteoarthritis and severe stress and have regular GP health checks but no matter what I do, eat or how long I relax or sleep, my energy is gone within an hour or two of waking.

Ask your gp about it. fatigue can be caused by so many things stress, under active thyroid, chronic fatigue syndrome. Get them to do some tests to get to the bottom of it!

What dose of pred are you taking? Could it be your adrenal glands waking up?

think thyroid. get blood work right away. your dr should have been on top of this. get assertive with your health provider, you deserve to be able to function! Best of luck.
