Experience using Zantac 150 mg for Silent Reflux?

Posted , 2 users are following.

I have been diagnosed with Silent Reflux with my ENT today. I have had a sharp pinching/burning sensation on the left side of my throat. It is very painful and annoying and my ENT said it was silent reflux. I've bought 150 mg worth of Zantac. Anyone with a similar experience knows how long it takes to cure my sore throat? I don't know if it is just in my head but I'm already starting to feel better after two pills. Any insight will be much appreciated. Thanks smile

    Hi Brandon.

I'm a suffer of this also. Unfortunately though, your throat can take several months before it heals properly. That has to be through change in your diet aswell though. Meds alone won't be as affective

Thanks for the insight. I have started to change my diet already and I'm taking 3 Zantac pills every day. The pain gets better throughout the day, but it is worse when I wake up in the morning. Any advice on how I should change up the way I sleep? Thanks.

I find anything tomatoeymakes it worse too, also chocolates aswell!! Are you sleeping with your bed elevated? I've had to invest in a wedge that you put under your mattress instead as my husband said it was like sleeping on a helter skelter slide!!!! He's so dramatic!!! Hahaha!! The wedge helps though. Try amazon, I got mine from there and didn't cost loads.
