Experiencing pain in my calf

Posted , 4 users are following.

I was walking fine, but as soon as i started to walk down steps, both of my calves starting to cramp. I now am in pain pointing my feet down and up. It is hard for me to walk and this has not happened to me before! If it is a cramp, what do i do to stop them? maybe dehydration?

Thank you!

If this is the first time you have experienced cramp you may need to find out the reason why. Are you pregnant? on any sort of medication?

Drinking plenty may help to keep cramp away and daily stretching and massaging of the calf muscles. If your cramp lasts more than 10 minutes at any time you need to see a doctor but most cramps go away on their own. If your calf muscle feels sore and tender afterwards, try taking some ibuprofen.
