Expidium experiences

The 23 days ago I had vertebrosynthesis transpedicularis at the levels Th11-Th12-L1-L2 due to severe THL scoliosis that was spirally curved and causing strong pain in both legs, pelvis and spine. Now as these symptoms are not existing, I have to learn to walk again, to swimm and eventually to ride the bike if possible. I am walking each day more and more, but the trick is that now I have still pain, which is mostly up to 5, althougl last few days not exceeding 3 of the different nature. I have a corset, use a walker and the wheelchair during the period of recovery that will last for 3 months.

I am still taking a lot of pilss and pain would be more significant without them, but I suppose it is natural after so invasive surgery. I have a scar of cca 15 cm, had ben operated by two professors of neurosurgery and four assistants, since the condition was life threatening and the surgery was urgently done.

The Expidium system 6.35 is now implanted in my spine, the success after the surgery was 90% in terms of reducing THL scoliosis but the new kind of pain developes during the recovery phase.

Does somebody have some experience to share with Expidium systems? It is bascally a fusion and stabilization of the spine, but not involving removal of discs or autotransplantaton of bones.

My Expidium has been in on l1-l2-t12 for a year. It is very very very painful, and post operative care exists nowhere.
