Explain the blood tests numbers please

Posted , 4 users are following.

My blood tests show the following:

Free T4 15.1

TSH 4.4

B12 283

Folate 6.2

Positive TPO antibodies 35.9

Cortisol 243

Glucose 5.4

Basically I don't really understand the figures well and am looking for someone to explain which are good or bad levels. Thank you in advance!

Why didnt your Doctor take the time to talk to you about the results? The best person to talk to is your Doctor. Call make a appoitment and tell the Doctor you want to know what everything means. Good luck.

even when your doctor is the one to tell you for sure, looks like your t4 are a bit high

nothing that 25 mgrs of synthroid cant fix, your other readings look normal. the main thig is not to worry your positive thinking helps a great deal.

    Hi annatinks,

I'm not too sure about the other ones but your TSH is a little higher.  This should be between 0.0 - 3.00 I think smile x
