extended tonsil after zopiclone

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this,if not the Mod will hopefully move it.

I am lucky in the respect that I only need to take 1 tablet of 7.5 mg zopiclone once a month or less (noisy neighbours). Last night I took one and this morning my tonsil is hanging lower than it usually does. I can feel the thing flap and it hits the back of my throat making me want to gag.    Sounds mad I know but it really is annoying.  I am in my mid fifties and never had any problems with my tonsils. Has anyone else experienced this after taking this  drug, will it wear off ?

Thank you

    Hi there,

that cannot be related to taking a pill!

I would see your GP on Monday or go to your nearest emergency room. Sounds really freaky😨. I wish you all the best

thank you for your reply. It seemed such a coincidence taking zopiclone and the next morning this.  If it does not go back into position over the next day or so I will certainly see my GP.
