Extreme dizziness after an attack

Hi, new here.
So I registered here to find some advice about my constant dizziness.
It started a couple of weeks ago when I used to get dizzy and felt like I'm on a Boat, it went away pretty quickly tho after laying down and relaxing. But last week it started getting worse, I got them more regularly on a daily basis, when on Monday (15th) I was home alone and the dizziness wouldn't go away with the methods I used before. So that's how I got my first panic attack, it was horrible, I felt like I was having a heart attack and hyperventilated, the fear of death was a pretty scary experience.
Doctors told me my dizziness, and my attack came from depression. I'm not surprised really, I've had a lot of the symptoms but never really felt like being depressed. They gave me anti-depressant meds now.
Now my problem, which doctors couldn't really tell me why, is why do I have constant dizziness? It's been like that for 3 days straight now. It feels like I'm on a really long boat ride, and I can't walk properly anymore without holding on to something, I feel lightheaded and my entire body feels like it went through 3 marathons straight. I've looked on Google for answers but couldn't really find much. I was hoping if anyone here had a similar experience, or might know an answer. Did my attack push my body or am I in shock?
Thanks, Michael

hi dondelon, this sounds like what i had! i have labyrinthitis and vertigo, caused by sinus difficulties. have you tried an antidizziness medication? you need some liquid MASSES of it, but speak to your doctor about prochloperazine, if you can't swallow them ask for buccal tablets, these go between the gum and the teeth. good luck the dizziness is horrible. i'd ask to see a different doctor, or the practice manager!

Hi Sam, thanks for your reply,
The Hospital and my private doctor have already checked my ears and have done various balance issue tests, following a pen, if I see double, hearing tests, and based on them they told me everything is okay. Also the only real symptom of labyrinthitis I have is the dizziness. No hearing loss, no ringing, fluid, ear pain or change of vision. So I really don't know whats happening.

I would say its severe anxiety...every day my head is light, feel like am walking on sponges...like my feet are not on the ground, and I too, have to hold on to something, or somebody to walk. especially when I go out...it happens in the house too...then I have to ly down and do my slow breathing, usually after a half hour, I can get up...I have got loads of tests done, and nothing can be found....DR says its anxiety...it can go away for a couple of days, then just return, for no reason...A horrible, horrible, way to live, so I just take one day at a time...
