Extreme dizziness after quitting bb

Hi,

42 year old who started on Metoprolol during christmas, due to palpitations and an elevated pulse.

was on 50 mg for about two months when the dizziness started.

My doctor prescribed Propranolol instead-20 mg two times a day.

the dizziness went off the charts and he told me to quit all together.

it has now been a week and I am feeling worse by the day.

The dizziness is mindnumbing. Afraid to walk and to drive. Feels like I am going to pass out any second.. also I have this weird pressure in my forehead and eyes. It is horrible. my doctor says it can't be because of the BB and says he thinks it's a virus...that this is not a usual sideeffect after a week after stopping them..

Feels like this is killing me.. can anyone shed some light?

Thank you<3

I have that pressure around my eyes and forehead DAILY. Oddly it can start at any time but it always starts around 3-4 pm. My face feels like it is going to explode.

I have had that for many years, and doctors just can not figure it out. One neurologist says its silent migraines...but daily?I think the only reason he said that is that I also get ocular migraines but never a headache after the aura stops. These auras seem to be seasonal.

I have had this as mentioned for many years, When I was taking beta blockers for SVT. I had them but also when I was not taking beta blockers. I am now on a calcium channel blocker, and still get them

It has to be the worst feeling. It just feels like you head/face is going to explode. My cheeks are also full of pressure. And my ears will also fill with pressure
