Extreme fatigue, fluttering heartbeat in head and ears and nausea

hey there,

im a 25 year old female who has been experiencing strange symptoms for the last few days. I am not currently on any medication. My symptoms include:

Fatigue - for every hour I am awake I need to sleep for another. Also, its the only time I don't feel sick so it's a happy reprieve.

Fluttering heartbeat - from the moment I wake up and stretch, move and yawn my heartbeat flutters. Usually for 3 - 4 beats. I can feel it in my chest, head and ears. So much that it blocks other sound. Its been continuous from the moment i wake up to moment i go to bed.

Dizziness and Nausea - I cannot stand for long without feeling dizzy. I have had bouts of vertigo in the past. I experience nausea regardless of laying down or standing and have not had much of an appetite.

I have also been experiencing anxiety and fearfulness. I have a history of anxiety but these symptoms are so extreme that i am not able to leave my couch.

I went to a doctor today who sent me for blood work and an ECG. I believe to test for certain deficiencies and abnormalities in my heart rate.

Any insight would be extremely helpful as this is unlike anything ive experienced and cannot find anything helpful online.

Thank you.

Thanks! I've had vertigo in the past but this feels different. The fluttering heartbeat even happens when im laying down and I am no longer experiencing vertigo. Doc checked my blood pressure and everything was normal.

    Hi Kay,

Did the blood tests reveal anything ? I'm currently taking feroglobin which has iron and B vitamins that I feel are helping me and may help you? You can google to see what you think. when I had low B12 I had dizziness etc and taking B12 helped.
