Extreme pain in my lower back and all down my left leg.

For the past 3 to 4 months, I've been having lower back pain. That pain slowly went down toward the back of my left leg. Now I can't move without it hurting a lot. I can't sit down, cross my legs, sit up, stand up, walk, lay down, stretch, or even bend my neck backwards without it hurting.

I'm only guessing it's my sciatica nerve, but since I can't go to a doctor, any ideas of how I can heal my back/leg without any meds?

It does sound very much like sciatica.

The best (and medicine free) way to reduce pain is to do specific sciatica exercises. Because I cannot include links here, do search for videos on youtube. AskDrJo and Bob and Brad have many very good exercises and suggestions for managing sciatica.

Hope they help. I know how horribly painful it can be. I do get a flare from time to time, but now I can recognize when it starts and do my set of exercises and manage it - of course without meds.

    All the best!
